Take the Base Line Road, then turn to your right. . . . You'll find the Base Line pretty straight. This road you're on is a conch-shell road [which] was marked on the base road and at an opposite point on the Bay, then blazoned through the forest from one point to another by the sound of a conch-shell used as a horn. There are numbers of conch-shell roads on this side of the mountain.
